The Sony Walkman – Going strong since 1979

You probably thought the Walkman was dead. No one would blame you for thinking this, with handheld products like iPods and internet services like Spotify, who would use a Walkman? Apparently many people. The Huffington Post recently wrote a great article about the Sony product where it mentions Monday is the Walkman’s 34th birthday and the iconic music player of the ’80’s and ’90’s is still in production. There is a small twist in the story though; you can’t play cassette tapes with it anymore.
